Roman Archaeology in the Digital World (ARCM010)

This module provides a critical overview to key digital techniques and resources for acquiring, structuring, analysing and disseminating information about Roman artefacts and landscapes. You will gain a critical appreciation of the impact of various major digital methodologies such as 3D modelling, linked open data, image manipulation and geospatial technologies on our appreciation of the Roman past. No specific prior knowledge is required, though a basic familiarity with computers is assumed.
